I. Kitchen Appliances (The Most Widely Used Field)
1. Liquid heating type:
Electric kettle: Immersion stainless steel heating tube, quickly boils water.
Water dispenser/tea bar machine: Built-in heating tank or instant heating tube, provides hot water.
Coffee machine: Used for boiling hot water to brew coffee, or steam heating tube for making milk froth.
Electric pressure cooker/boiling water cooker: Heating tube in the outer water tank indirectly heats the inner container through a water bath.
2. Air-baking type:
Electric oven: Usually there are two sets of quartz tubes or metal tubes on the top and bottom, which heat the food through radiation and convection.
Toaster oven (bread machine): The internal mesh heating tubes radiate closely, quickly baking bread slices.
Air fryer: The core is a high-power heating tube and a high-speed fan, creating a circulating hot air for cooking.
Electric griddle: Both the upper and lower heating plates have bent heating tubes inside, achieving double-sided heating.
3. Contact heating types:
Electric rice cooker: Bottom heating plate (embedded heating tube) or new type of IH electromagnetic heating (without heating tube).
Induction cooker: Does not use heating tubes, but many electric ceramic cookers use infrared halogen heating tubes.
Electric frying pan/oven plate: Embedded heating tubes on the bottom or the surface of the plate, providing a uniform heating surface.
II. Bathing and Hot Water Appliances
1. Storage-type electric water heater: The core component is one or more high-power immersion water heating tubes (directly inserted into the water in the inner tank), usually equipped with magnesium rods to prevent corrosion.
2. Instantaneous electric water heater / Small Kitchen Boiler: It uses ultra-high power (usually above 6kW) rapid heating tubes. The water is instantly heated as it flows through.
3. Electric water faucet: The principle is the same as the instantaneous type, with a relatively smaller power. It is installed at the faucet to provide hot water instantly.
III. Cleaning and Washing of Appliances
1. Washing machine:
Washer with drum: Most are equipped with heating tubes to heat the washing water, improving cleaning efficiency and disinfection.
Some high-end top-loading washing machines: Also have the heating function for washing.
2. Dishwasher: Built-in heating tubes are used to heat the washing water and perform high-temperature rinsing and drying at the end (using residual heat or separate heating), ensuring that the tableware is dry and hygienic.
3. Steam mop/hang ironing machine: The water in the water tank is quickly converted into high-temperature steam by the heating tubes for cleaning or ironing.
IV. Environmental Control Appliances
1. Electric heaters:
Small Sun: Uses quartz tubes or halogen tubes and mainly heats by radiation.
European quick-heater/footboard electric heater: The interior contains a metal heating element that dissipates heat through aluminum sheets and uses air convection for heating.
Oil Radiator: The internal heating tubes heat the conductive oil, which then dissipates heat through the surface of the oil radiator.
2. Electric towel racks: The interior is filled with conductive liquids or uses dry electric heating tubes, dissipating heat through the frame, drying towels and keeping the bathroom warm.
3. Bathroom heaters: The lamp-heating type uses infrared quartz heating bulbs; the core of the air-heating type is a PTC ceramic heating element (more efficient and safer, not traditional metal heating tubes).
V. Personal Care Appliances
1. Hair dryer: The core component is the electric heating wire wound around the ceramic base, and the fan blows air through the heated area.
2. Hair curler/straightener: It contains a miniature heating element or PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) to precisely control the temperature of the panel.
3. Steam beauty device: A miniature heating unit heats water to produce steam, which is used for facial care.
