The differences between 5K, 10K, 50K and 100K NTC thermistor temperature sensors

The main difference between 5K and 10K NTC thermistor temperature sensors lies in their resistance values. The nominal resistance value of 5K at 25℃ is 5KΩ, that of 10K is 10KΩ, that of 50K is 50KΩ, and that of 100K is 100KΩ at 25℃. 5K thermistors are particularly suitable for use in disposable and permanent medical products, as well as in energy management systems, electrical appliances, industrial equipment and automotive applications. Although the applicable temperature range is from -80°C to + 150°C, the best stability can be achieved at temperatures not exceeding 105°C.
NTC thermistors of 10K and 100K are widely used in temperature detection, measurement, inspection, indicator, monitoring, measurement, control, calibration and compensation, etc. They are suitable for HVAC and white goods, automotive and battery pack applications. It has a wider range of applications and is more economical.
