Classification of Home Appliance Thermostats

When the thermostat is working, it can be combined with the change of the ambient temperature, so that physical deformation occurs inside the switch, which will produce some special effects, resulting in conduction or disconnection. Through the above steps, the device can work according to the ideal temperature. Nowadays, thermostats are widely used in home appliances. The following is a detailed introduction to the classification of home appliance thermostats.

Snap action thermostat is a component that uses the fixed temperature bimetal as a thermally sensitive component. If the temperature of the product component rises, the heat generated will be transferred to the bimetal disc, and when the heat reaches the set temperature, it will act quickly. If it is acted by a mechanism, the contact will generally be disconnected or the contact will be closed. When the temperature drops to the reset temperature set value, the bimetal will quickly return to its original state, making the contacts closed or disconnected, so as to achieve the purpose of cutting off the power supply and allow the circuit to be controlled and protected.

Automatic reset: As the temperature increases or decreases, the internal contacts are automatically opened and closed.

Manual reset: When the temperature rises, the contact will be automatically disconnected; when the temperature of the controller cools down, the contact must be reset and closed again by manually pressing the button.

When the temperature of the control object changes, the liquid expansion thermostat is a logistics phenomenon in which the material in the temperature sensing part of the thermostat undergoes corresponding thermal expansion and contraction, and is connected with the temperature sensing part through the volume change of the material. The bellows will shrink or expand. Afterwards, the switch is driven to switch on and off through the lever principle. Through this work process, the advantages of accurate temperature control and stable work efficiency can be achieved. The overload current of this kind of thermostat is also very large, and it is widely installed and used in home appliances at present.

The pressure thermostat converts the change of the controlled temperature into a space pressure or a change in the volume through a closed temperature bulb and a capillary filled with a temperature-sensing working medium, and reaches the temperature set value through this workflow, and then the contacts are automatically closed through the elastic element and the fast instantaneous mechanism, thus realizing the working purpose of automatic temperature control. The pressure thermostat is composed of three parts: a temperature sensing part, a temperature setting subject part and a micro switch that performs opening and closing. This thermostat is widely used in household appliances such as refrigerators and freezers.

The above is a brief introduction to the classification of home appliance thermostats. According to the working principle and structure of the thermostat, the functional advantages of the snap action thermostat, the liquid expansion thermostat and the pressure thermostat are different. Therefore, it is suitable to be installed in different home appliance products, making the use of electrical appliances safer and more convenient.
