The Application of Bimetal Thermostat in Small Household Appliances — Dishwasher

The dishwasher circuit is equipped with a bimetal thermostat temperature controller. If the working temperature exceeds the rated temperature, the contact of the thermostat will be disconnected to cut off the power supply, so as to ensure the safety and reliability of the dishwasher. In order to achieve better dishwashing effect, the existing dishwashers generally use heating pipes to heat the cleaning water, and the heated water enters the spray arm through the water pump for cleaning. Once water shortage occurs in the heating system of the dishwasher, the surface temperature of the electric heat pipe will rise rapidly until it is damaged, and the electric heat pipe will break during dry burning and lead to short circuit, during which there may be hazards such as electric leakage, fire and explosion. Therefore, a temperature control switch must be installed in the dishwasher, and a temperature control switch should be placed in the heating system for temperature monitoring. The heating component includes a heating element and at least one temperature control switch, and the temperature control switch and the heating element are connected in series.

The principle of dishwasher bimetal thermostat temperature control switch is as follows: When the temperature of the heating tube is too high, the temperature control switch will be triggered to disconnect the power supply and the dishwasher will stop running. Until normal temperature is restored, the bimetal thermostat temperature switch is closed and the dishwasher is working normally. Bimetal thermostat switch can effectively prevent dishwasher electric heat pipe dry burning problem, protect the circuit safety. General dishwasher choose bimetal thermostat temperature control switch within 150 degrees.
